Here in college I help a lot of people using Debian and Ubuntu and most of them are simply _afraid_ of a terminal with aptitude... so they're stuck with synaptic and the burning hell it raises. @Jesse James: just throwing in a random and irrelevant idea: "installed-only-because-recommended" flag alongside the usual "installed-only-because-depended-on" Nice project!
